I bought some new risers off Exben

and I was so impressed with them, so I thought I'd get some new bars too. $140 at BGW

all up $240. Now I have some motivation to get shit done in the shed

Hey Nudie throw them on a set of good scales for me pritty please ? Would love to know what they weigh , yours are carbon over Ali yes ? I'm looking for a target weight to aim for .

Check that , found out they weigh 725 grams ! There heavyer than Rizoma's 29mm taper's at 458 grams ! So much for being the ducks guts. The bars you have may not be the lightest but from what I read they are very stiff and far less prone to vibration , so should be good for long trips.

The weight thing doesnt really bother me. If it did, i'd eat a few less pies for lunch and revel in my new found manouverability
Really I just bought them because they look cool.
Long trips? Now i'm feeling my age, Ze Panzer takes care of the long trips :-)

I know where your coming from with the rider weight bit , I got to get down to 80 kg or less before NFR for the effort to drop the project bike's weight worth it. And atm I'm still 91 kg .
