I scored some kz650 clamps and some drag bars to try to remedy some low speed nervousness on the gpz. The new clamps have about 6mm less offset, hopefully this should sort it out as I'm currently running a rediculous 84mm if trail.

All done, went for a decent ride today. The handling is spot on now. The bike tips in super quick still but feels a lot more settled in the turns, and no more low speed instability. Trail is roughly 93mm now. The drag bars are much more wheelie freindly too.

Looks good mate! What else you planning on doing?? Abit of black on that frame and swinger would top her off nicely.

Ah yes, that was all that was missing from the original picture mate. Job sorted. Feels better - looks better.

Went for a ride over the spur too Buxton on sunday. Bike handled great, even scrubbed my arrows and michelin men off the rear tire (with 400k's on it :) ). We got held up by a bunch of wankers on big dollar sportbikes wearing pristine sliders etc. The R1 in front of me looked like it had training wheels on it, the way the dude was riding... boy he was fast on straights though [:o)]. I'm starting to think black frame and swinger but stripping it right back again sounds like work.
