hi everyone i m about to start my first project a cbr1000rr and i will be expecting a handlebar conversion kit to arrive soon ,can anyone recommend someone to fit this along with the headlights and brake lines other than a main dealer as they are on the expensive side and ask me why i want to do it,so advice or a contact would be good as im new to the scene in perth,ps any idea on cost? thanks

that would be awesome to meet like minded folk im originally from england so have no contacts whatsoever here i can only do basics, bars, mirrors e.t.c,im not totally useless but this is too big a job for me,i live in ellenbrook but work in albany 2 weeks on 2 days off so is a bit of a juggle to find time to work on it but if anyone is willing to help me out when my conversion kit and lights arrive i will make another post here and would be sincerly gratefull if someone replies, i dont expect anything for free,i just need someone who knows what they are talking about thanks for the relply and i will post when all arrives probably in a couple of weeks

Couple of options for you good old Motorcycles Masters in Kewdale are always a great bunch of guys.
The other is Chain Reaction in Kewdale speak to Paul I'm sure he'll cut you a good deal.

cheers billy will check my roster as i work away a few weeks at a time but if it works i'l be up for it,thanks hagarr for the names of those two places spoke to motorcycle masters who can do it in a few weeks turns out my neighbour knows them so can sort something out,cool.i took the fairings off my cbr1000rr 2006model to have a gander and right behind the front right indicator stuck out in the middle of nowhere is a stonking huge overflow/resovoir bottle anyone seen one done to get over this or any ideas on what to do with it? apart from that i think it should work nicley as a donor bike

Are you going too take pictures of the build?
If your looking to do it cheap you can use a stainless water bottle for the overflow and make up a bracket.

yes i will take pictures when it starts it sucks working away as i have to wai 3weeks to do more work then only get 4 days off almost 2 of which are travelling to and from work but its a job and will fund the build,i have looked at the water bottles which seem fine but after browseing the net found a cool looking bottle for 40bucks plus p+p so will go for that i think as it has a mounting bracket and is colour coded same as my accent colour,
