View Full Version : a few questions about a 1997 cbr 900

hello all . i am staring to tidy up my blade after xmas and i have a few questions for ye.
(1) i want to put brembo calipers on my blade is there any ones off other modles that fit it as a new set is mucho brasso ?
(2) going to get a full system for it any suggestions ?
(3)has anyone put straight bars on a faired blade how does it look ?
(4) i dont want to change the front end as i like the forks on it but are ohlins spring a worth while upgrade ?
(5)paint job ? stock/texas colurs/hm plant/martini ?

make like your name and make those fairings disappear!!! any spring upgrade which is for your weight is going to be a great upgrade. as for the zorst let your wallet make the final choice!!

Hows it going houdini,was with a guy sunday{mcgregor bar}
and he had a 97 blade with straight bars on it looked cool.
i'd ditch the fairing mate and go all out if you need a hand
i'll call to your dads place with my hammer and get rid of them for you LOL.
you could get brembo brake calipers for it and get plates made
up to suit.

i gonna leave the plastics on this one it was the bike i had on my wall when i was young fella i would love another blade to fighter and it will happen in the next year if i can pick up a abused one and fraank you will be called to help me fighter it

my old one is up forsale guy
i sold it to has got to get rid
of it cos there a baby on the way.
nice job done to it too.
r1 tail underseat exhaust and new spray job

Brad's bike is made up of bolt on parts and custom made bits. The exhaust is one of the latter. Either way you can contact him and he'll talk you through what he did and maybe be able to replicate it for you.

i would love to have pipes like that but one small problem it rains so much over here the bastards would fill with water if you left it out
