I am looking for Any LAMS Approved Road Bike in Good Nick for a Young mate thats looking to get on his first Ride

Ill look at anything reasonable prefer not a honda but Ill look if it nice and the price is right.

depending on his size but ill get flamed for this because i cant belive im saying it but i really like the new cb 400's
maybe because i love zephyrs and the new cb are very much in the same vane as the 550 zephyr

Great little bikes.
A local new rider was recently looking at ER500's and GS500's.
I convinced her to get a CB400. They have a "big bike shrunk"
feeling, not a boring plod to work feel. Not cheap but if the funds
are there they're worth it. A tidy Zephyr550 would be a good find.
Both are mini-me versions of the real deal.

they dont ride like just a plod around gs or er and have that 4 feeling not sv 650 twin feel
twin disks and ajustable twin rear shocks that seam to work ,even the zepkyrs arnt to bad(but at that age need a tidy up but can be done for under 300)
the 400 has injec and var cam timing and great fuel ecom, i really think they the only real way to go for small riders or lams
the ex was 5 foot tall and the zephyr just let her ride and feel the way i did on the 1100 both great little bikes

i had a zeph 550 for my L's, great little bike. still ride it and love it.

He Picked up a Nice 02 CB400 on Sunday for 3500 judging by what they are being sold for it looks like a good buy.

30,000 K's still with Original Pipe and was a chick rider selling
full service history and all the bling.

I am assuming now he has a bike and soon to have his licence he will be hanging out on the forums here pretty soon.
