Typical me I cant remember in what order the spark plug leads go into my GPZ900R engine after putting it all back togeather.
Can anyone with a Twin coil GPZ motor help me out please? Im dying to get this engine started and its the little things that are stuffing it up

Cheers

Japanese bikes are all 1+4, 2+3 mate.
So one coil will have longer leads than the other.

Just plug the coils in to the loom, one coil feeding 1+4 etc, and crank it...if it spits and backfires swap the pulse wires over and try again..

ok by memory a mates gpz was as follows

no 1 cyl is the right hand outer

right hand coil 1 is for cyls 1 and 4
left hand coil 2 is for cyls 2 and 3

coil 1 has two wires black and red and feeds plugs -1 and 4
coil 2 has two wires also "wow" green and red and feeds cyls 2 and 3

starting from the right no 1 cyl

right coil 1- top lead is for cyl 4 "left hand outer"
right coil 1- lower lead is for cyl 1 "right hand outer"

left coil 2-top lead is for cyl 3 "left hand inner"
left coil 2 - lower lead is for cyl 2 " right hand inner"

only thing is i cant remember if his gpz is a 600/750 or the 900??
hope this helps
