Heres a question for all.

How often do you ride your bike[?]

I commute ever day rain/hail/shine and have done for the last probly
17-18 yrs the blade is my daily ride:D

Only owned bikes in the UK,
No car or car licence.

24 years with only bikes for transport.

Always had more than 1 bike, not possible to have anything
decent and use it through ice, snow, and "salted" winter roads.
Always had a Z250, CB250, KDX etc for that.
(250's became cheap when they dropped the Learner limit to 125cc)

Since i moved out here (3+half years) I started doing Civil / Earthworks,
now own a car and have a Ute for work. For the first time the bikes are now toys.

Sometimes I think I must be Stupid !
I ride a bike through 24 years of English winters and now sit in
a Ute each day in this beautiful weather !!!...:D

How often ?
Normaly 1 night in the week, bike meet / Busa club etc,
and a 500 / 600k ride on a weekend with the local forums if i can,

Not often, but some sites I can lockup all my gear and tools and ride in.
(I can use my bike on my next site and its 100k's each way.[8D])

Yep every day for me on my Busa. Done nearly 5000km since new in 3 mths. The QLD summer storms do make it rather interesting sometimes tho. A bloke i work with hasnt driven a car since 1995 and now gas 365000km clocked up on his bike, he bought it new in 95.

I commute everyday on my gixxer, too.
I've had a bike licence for 12 years, and ridden almost everyday (except for when i've lost my licence, and even then that didn't used to stop me), but i've just gotten my learners for a car again - had my L's when i was 16, got a bike and never looked back.

I over the years have done both, had a week bike, and a daily bike. As it is now, the daily is the R6, and love going to work every day! Just hate being there LOL

Been riding now for 25 years fark thats a long time I must be gettin on a bit now.
Had company cars/vans the last ten years it pays for my way of life, so bikes are my toys and way of life.
I do ride my bike into work at least once a week and go for rides during the week but hey they are my toys.
Some people ask me why I like bikes so much? my answer is I would look pretty damn stupid playing with action men at my age now wouldn't I

I haven't owned a car in 2 years and if I'm not riding everyday something is going wrong. I get withdrawal if I'm off the road for more then 4 days.

Had the 1400 for almost 4 years and done 24,000Ks of fine sunny riding.

Bikes are a hobby to me, not my transport.

Been off bikes for about 3 years but as soon as the current one is finished I'll be back riding every day.

i ride to work, but get the bus[:0] to uni. (the bike parking is akways full and there are to many suicidal drivers[}:)]) hate it when the bikes at the mechanics or if i haven't go my arse into gear to finish the next stage off so usually ride it half finished.

got my licence the first day i possibly could, Ps about 2 days after i was legally allowed and fulls first day i was legally allowed.:D

In good weather I might ride to work once or twice a week but get out at least one, but usually a couple of nights a week on one bike or the other...or the other.
Plus the weekends.
Same as Des, I like keeping them in the shed as toys to bring out for the enjoyment rather than riding everyday.
Did my years of riding rain, hail or shine, happy to go without these days.

Every day until a few weeks ago when I came off mid commute. Torn shoulder ligament and lost my commuter FZR250, maybe small but it was heck fun to flick thru traffic, which is prob why I ended up on my ass. Be commuting daily again very soon. I also rarely ride on weekends. I enjoy being able to sit back in an auto falcon every once in a while.

I ride every day. I average about 30 hours a week riding my postie bike and up until last week I rode my bike in every day. We now live about 3 minutes from where I work so the pushy gets me there.

Basically I ride for fun...if its howling a gale and slashing down...it ain't fun.
Done my time in the uk...rain,freezing fog, snow,ice etc..
Nowt like an open face lid, freezing fog at night....Your friggin eyeballs freeze !!!

Everyday until I got a ute. Essentially so as I could strip my gsxr and mess with it. Usually have a couple of bikes registered. One bonus for travelling to work at 5 am, no cars and most cops are still in bed wanking over gay porn or dreaming about chasing the general lee.

Perfecting wheelies one morning some crazy fuck passed me on a z1000 kwaka standing on the pillion pegs and on one wheel, gotta love moments like that.

Seen a couple of hundred bikes today in perth heading south. Bastards.

Haven't had a car for about 5 years now, commute 60kms a day plus a weekend ride when I can. Unfortunately not that often these days...[V]

I get to (should mean have to :D) ride everday since since the missus and I agreed on a budget for a new car or half the budget for a bike - I was amazaed she wasn't happy when I said I had saved her half the budget so rain hail or shine I'm out there as she's seen me bin it a couple of times and no confidence to be on the back - I've told her that sometimes when you are pushing hard, it can be a little too hard and you'll soon know when you and the bike part ways :D but it's hasn't changed her mind on things so solo seat riding I will go

used to do the run to work from Ballarat to Greensborough and back everyday on a cafe'd gpz750 for about 2 years before heading back to the sunny west where after many faithful miles, she was replaced with my trumpy speed triple

Now clock up a couple hundred k's a week without having to suit up like the michelin man (although some may say I resembles him anyway - bastards!!!)

Was about 3 times a week when I had a decent commute.
Between school age kids and a wife that does shiftwork, a car is the only way a lot of the time.
