Another newbie saying G'day.

My name is Chris, I live near Brissy and have recently swapped an old car for a bike. I hope it fits in here it's a Yamaha MT01 '06'. It's my first bike after about 8 years without one, and I'm really enjoying riding again. My last bike was a XR650R and before that a Yamaha Thunderace and a CR500R at the same time. Then before that was a few different chook chasers. Here's a pic of the MT. Looking forward to going on rides with a few of youse.

Thanks for the replies fellas, looking forward to going on some rides with the SEQ members. Yeah another Ippy boy, I was trying to be all polite and shit by putting near Brissy. So people don't have to ask where's Ipswich is.:o Anyways love the MT it handles nice, brakes well and nice smooth power out of corners but lacks straight line speed. But that's ok because it can't do stupid speeds, I don't worry about speeding too much, so I guess it's a good thing.:) And don't worry the MT only owes me 6 grand because I swap it for an old XY I had.

so there's always something going on.

I like the MT01. Took one around Somerset Dam / Splityard Creek / Kilcoy.
A little lacking in top end, but that may be a good thing for my licence too!
