I'm having a bit of a brain fart but is there anything to be concerned about when the actual frame number is different by 3 digits (last 3 digits) to the number stamped on the compliance plate? The frame may be 1974 but the plate says 10/75. I get that this may be when the bike actually landed in Aus and was tagged. but I thought the imports had hugely different numbers invented for them once they got here, and the old number was X'd out.?
