I have a set of standard ZX9B headers off my 7/9 that I replaced with a Muzzy, they're different to the 750 jobs in that they have a balance tube between 1 & 4 (makes the engine feel noticeably smoother & torquier than the 750 headers) & they end just under the right peg with a slipjoint so you can run any length link pipe or just stick a shorty can on the end like I did on my STREETFIGHTER (there's a pic of it on here somewhere) Strangely enough the ZXR, ZX7 & ZX9Bs all have the same I.D. primary pipes @ 32mm, I thought the 9s would have a bigger I.D.
Having said that, I had these headers on my bike when we did a dyno session a couple of years ago & it made 3 hp less than Timbo's bike which has the bells-&-whistles Hindle big bore race system on it...
I also have a nice 3 piece aftermarket 4-2-1 35mm I.D. system but that's going on my new ZXR 7/9 Sports Naked project  ;)
