Stayed twice at the Mango Tree Motel,
but in 2009 it was booked out so stayed a few hundred yards
along the sideroad further towards the point.

Trying to find the name or details of the place.
On the right hand / Ocean side.
Reception near the road.
Over a bridge and into a gated complex.
Beach just behind it.
Nice pool and underground parking.

I remember some of the Gladstone / Rockhampton guys
stayed there too.

Anyone remember the name ?

Thanks.
Did try that, but Streetview only did the main road,
complex was up a service road.

Found it now after hour of looking at resort pic's.

Wasn't listed as Agnes Waters.

Don't know if it's of any use/interest to you Tony but I can recommend this place as well - http://www.agneswaterbeachclub.com.au/. It's just back towards the shops from the Mango Tree.

(http://www.agneswaterbeachclub.com.au/)I basically lived there for about 18mths when we were building substations in the area. They used to get the occasional group bike booking and the manager at the time would lock all the bikes away underground.

EXCELLENT !

I'd walked past that place a few times and thought it looked OK
but had forgotten all about it. Cheer's.

Hope to do a bike run up towards the end of the year
but would be nice to take the Mrs away before then.

Thanks.
