I decided today to see if I could remove the baffles from the stock exhausts on my 250 zeal. It didnt look like they were wool construct or anything, and both the cans are completely welded (from headers to end caps). my method... I got a long steel rod, ground a spike on the end of it and used a hammer to knock a hole in the 2 baffles I found on the way.... then I got a tent pole, which was only just thinner then the pipe down the centre of the exhausts, and used the hammer technique to make the holes in the baffles bigger.

End result - no more whine sound. exhausts sound throatier, and louder. That makes me happy. dont know about extra power, as its all relative anyway (0kw x anything is still 0...)
