Can anyone tell me how to strip forks off a 1994 gsxr as I want to powder coat tubes.

If you powdecoat the upper tubes then it will make it much harder to get them into the yokes. You would be better off having them anodised. The easiest way to strip them will be to remove the allen bolt in the bottom, remove the circlip above the seal, and withdraw the stanchion. Then undo the top nut and withdraw the entire damper rod assembly. It wil be easier to loosen the top nut whilst the fork is still clamped in the yoke rather than trying to hold it in a vice and risk damaging the upper. You will need a good bit of effort to pull the stanchion out as it will drag the seal out with it due to the upper bushing being on the fork stanchion rather than in the upper as it is on the later GSXR forks.
