The trick will be to get the Busa engine to look "old school"

Then make a radiator system and ducting / fans etc to hide the cooling in the tail unit or something.

A hair dryer with a slash cut pipe on the front should make a neat exhaust.

Already got a GSXR600 swingarm and a GSXR1000 rear wheel for it.

Need a complete 1000 front end , forks, tripples, calipers, wheel etc too.

isn't the 600 swingarm gonna make for some wheelie fun riding? or is the wheelbase longer cause it an old school bike and the shorter swinger won't make a difference?

will be sweet to look at when finished no doubt!

The 600 swingarm is almost the same lenght as the stock one, if anything it's about 10mm longer at a rough estimate.

shit, surely they could have hidden that radiator up under that ginormous tail!

fukkin dooo it

Having the rad under the tail, I'd be worried bout shit flicked from the rear tyre destroying it, even with a rad guard, thats a lot of shit that gets flung...

Could you build some sort of ram air coming from the front of the bike, feeding thermo fans in a cowl under the tail and have the rad completely guarded from the rear wheel??

This may be the obvious system, sorry for my rambling

Stocky

Yeh that's the idea.

Ram air in the front and a rear facing duct that draws air out when you are moving.

Thermo fans would work a lot but it'd be worth it.

With an electric water pump and a decent volume of water it'll work ok.

..how about splitting the rad up... say from a dirt bike they should be small enuf to hide under the stock tail

The plan is for the shape of the bike to stay stock tank seat tail and everything else. Just run current suspension and drivetrain (plus a litte bit of bracing:D)

Probably going with a GSXR1400 engine now.

The Busa engine is a pain to fit and water cooling complicates things too.

A 1400 with a TTS Supercharger kit should be interesting enough and keep the origional look enough too.
