but i really need to go for a ride with sombody other than my self.
what about it guy's may be between Chrissy and New Year's?
or after New Years?

may be down to Wiseman's ferry or even just to Wollimbi travern
for a steak sandwitch and a beer.
or even just down Newcastle on a sunday to watch the masses drive past...

i've only done dirt ride's for the past.... shit....well... 6 odd month's (with my dirt mate's who only ride in the dirt ) and really need to get the XT out!!!!

We were in town on sunday there were heaps of bikes out.
Im shutting the Workshop Friday lunch time and not comming back to the 3rd so any day after boxing day mate should be fine.
Ill round a few of the boys up if you want that came on our last ride

your not going to beleive it.
decided to ride the xt yesterday as it was the last day of the year.
get home and there's this small puddle of oil under it about an hour later.
a quick look reveiled more oil coming out past the stator wires.
ripe the cover off.... more oil. it done a bloody crank shaft seal.
this wont be a huge drama provided yamaha has a 1977 crank seal in stock.
what a time of year for it too happen!!!!
still really keen for a ride though. will ride the 600 if i have to.
what about Friday the 30th? or the Saturday though that is New years eve and guy's might be going away
any other day's suit?
and may be meet at the BP in industrial drive and go down the Pacific through swansee then the way we went last time and over
to wollimbi then back through the nock and may be some vine yard's and a beer at Harrigan's pub then the back way from Branxton to maitland.
should be home mid afternoonish.

Im not go to be there mate ill be up at Soldiers Point. We are heading up there Christmas arvo and staying there to new years but im taking the bike with me so i can go for rides.
I hope they have fixed that Yarramalong road since last time. Dont have another chook chacer in the shed do ya?:D

edit... i'm going to have to be on the dirt bike...
as i got a crank seal for the 500 fitted it test rode it and leaked just as bad.
have removed the new leaking seal to find a small mark in the crank
which i have removed and polished out but but a new seal wont arrive till this afternoon
so i'll be able to fit it but wont get a test ride in.
so rather than get to wyong and find it's still leaking i'll have to take the other bike.

and what if it raining again tomorrow like they are saying it going to?
doesn't worry me that much as long as it's just showers and not flogging down.

it's been set up for some touring/long distance rides at the monent thinging of going to Camerons corner soon (it's a ttr600)
