Right, so as wifey's bike is quite likely a write off she's started looking for a 600 that can be lowered easily. The Zzr6 was the right height but too heavy (195 kg). Could be a 750 if the right thing came along.
I know there are loads of kits /links etc but what we really need is someone that has one/knows of one that she could try.
Its all very well saying 'this can be lowered' but until she can sit on one she won't know for sure.

Here you go Sharky, this one a mate of mine owns, very low, very stable at speed, actually weighs fuck all, she might like the color, on the down side fuel usage isnt its best point. Even has room to put her handbag and other girly stuff :D

SV650,Z750 and Cagiva Raptor seem to be popular choices.
Might be a bit far away, but a friend is looking to sell her FZ6.

lowered my 954rr blade. requires a new longer dog bone, cheap as . mine cost $80 with 2 levels of adjustment (and standard too) and came with the bearings pressed in, good quality too. fronts are just dropped through the triples
other bikes like cbr600rr are more expensive as they need 2 links (one either side) for their pro link setup
