trouble with pic's

When I hit the insert image button and put the URL in it tells me it is invalid URL but I I just type the [img} [/img} and insert it works.
Not on all but on most it seems. Is anyone else having this issue?

I never hit the insert button, I just type the [img} [/img} and past my linky in there Yella.. never fails for moi..

Where are you uploading pics from Yella ??
I find that using the insert image tag thingy with the 'direct' link from photobucket works, but I get the same invalid URL using the IMG code from the same place.....

The insert image link is a bit fussy, it tries to check that it's a valid image path (eg ends in .jpg or .gif etc)... doing it with the [img] tags will just take whatever you throw at it, BUT will silently fail (and display a red-x) if it's not a valid image.
