are 98 and 07 R1 sanctions interchangable????

hey all does anyone know if i can swap the lower fork legs from a 07 R1 into the tubes of an 98 R1??
i have internals for both,

i know it would probablly be easier to just swap the forks, but i have the 07 R1 sanctions, so i thought i'd
see if this is possiable.

why??? i want radials on my R6!

You could take the ultra easy way and buy these.. will still pretty much brake the same as axials but you'll get the look your after..
