Hey guys can you tell me what bars are you guys running the superbike ones or the mx ones?
I see that there are quite a few differences and that the mx bars dont sweep back as far as the superbike ones and thay are a fair bit wider.
Thanks :D

Streetfighters have one piece bars ie MX style bars.
Alot of us use fatbars and flat bars.

I just bought a pair of cheap x tech (mcas) ones to replace the drag bars i put on the vfr. I only used the drag bars since they were in the shed.. Since my bike was reversed into this morning, glad i have a spare set to put on.
They're a really neutral bend, and can't complain for the price i paid.

The stiffness of a tube is mostly a function of its diametre rod , the stiffness of stainless over regular steel or Aluminium is not much concern , the increasing the weight reduces the harmonics (tuning like a tuning fork) so thicker tube doesnt make it much stiffer but does lower the resonant frequency so reducing percived "feel" of vibration.

Ie if your motor vibes at 4500 hz on freeway and so do your bars , you will end up with numb hands in 10 min riding , if you add weight to the bars (weights in the end or thicker tube or both) enough to reduce the resonant fequency of your bars down to say 2000 hz then it will still vibrate but alot less.

Hence Al bars are thick to add weight to reduce tuning frequency of bars , making bars shorter helps reduce travel at ends but also increases fequency . Alot of clipons are solid to add enough weight to drop frequencys.

Large diam bars are stiff , then they add weight at the ends to reduce harmonics so your hands dont go numb.

Busa: Renthal 789
Bandit: Renthal 789
B-King: Stock
1100ET: Silly high chrome ones.

I like the 789's. They suit my riding and size/build.
Gives me a more upright position than flat/drag bars,
and half way between road bike and dirt bike bars width.
