wtf - password not working

hey i have obiously missed something , but i got back from working away to find revamped site, however login wouldnt work had to reset password was this normal or fluke, had me fucked for a bit eh.

Yes dude was a common error because we switched sites, everyone has had to do it.

Yea mate, the old forum encoded the passwords in a way that this new one didn't recognise, so everybody's passwords were lost. The only way around it was to reset the passwords - done just like you did from the link given after the password error shows. Thanks for being so intuitive by the way, I have had literally hundreds of emails from guys that didn't read the error page and emailed me instead.

Sucks if you've changed emails and no longer have access to it, hence the new user name.
