So how's everyone going? Starting to enjoy the new features and things?

Here's something a few of you may not know. The new calendar feature is great for posting rides and events etc, so make the most of that as well. It also reads people's birthdays from their profile if they entered a birth date, so if they did you'll see their name in the calendar: http://www.streetfighters.com.au/calendar.php?c=1 - looks like it's nudieboy's birthday tomorrow.

Check your birthday date in your profile as the transfer from the old shit forum made quite a few people 16 again. Sadly it's not true, so you best get in there and correct it.



On to something completely different: I did like XA-MONT's idea of giving the new membership levels custom names instead of basic, standard blah blah blah... So if you think you can come up with 4 new names and if I can work out how to change them without fucking things up then lets see what we come up with.

Type in the top bow and then click the arrow on the right of it. Wait a few seconds and it appears. The page refreshes every few seconds with new posts if there are any. The bottom left tells you who is in there at the moment.

Hey Si something I forgot to finish setting up, for the birthdays to show up, each usergroup needs it added to their permissions too. I don't think I set them all to allow that.

I any one used to use the old Active Topics like me....just klick the new posts button at the top, then on the next page..click search top left that will give you all the options last visited etc that you used to use ...:)

Site looks good SI. Been playing around with the settings a bit, surprised at how much you can customise. Also just noticed as I was typing a little pop up saying auto saved. Where does it save to?

Ha, good question! I'd say it saves it to the database and the only shows if you complete the post, if not it gets removed. My guess anyway.

Spot on, it saves to a "temp" table in case you close the page or lose net connection, once you hit post, or willingly leave the page, it wipes it.
