I have my 99 Bandit12 in for roadworthy tomorrow and have just noticed that the horn doesn't work. The switch has continuity, the earth has continuity but from what I can work out, the power wire for the horn is black with a blue stripe, it has no ergotrons and without a diagram I can't work out where it starts. Help me please

if you are getting power to the switch and through the switch when pressed then i would bypass the main wiring loom with a peice of wire and run it directly to the horn.
it only has to work for i test by the RWC guy.
just tap into the wire after the switch block connector expose the wire and twist on a bit of wire and run that to the horn.
good luck
Make sure the horn isn't touching anything, arc the connections together to see if it
atleast makes a slight noise.
Also give the horn button a hit with contact cleaner.
You can adjust the horn pitch with the screw located on the horn.
Give that a go.

Horn switches earth the horn not power it , power will run from the accessory circuit thru the horn to the switch.

So I should be looking for power at the horn first, true? I might have to start again.
Thanks for the advice, I'll tell you how I go

That was everything I needed, I was thinking the power went to the switch and you sent power to the horns when you hit the switch.
Thanks to all the guys that helped, much appreciated.
