I'm diggin' the fact that most people like this place for the advice / inspiration and wasting time / talking shit and not just a grab what you can attitude, that's great.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that most people can start polls if they want, even if it's a "Do you blame Jacktar?" Poll.

All you need to do is create a new thread and give it a name like ""Do you blame Jacktar?" and a description of what the poll is about in the main body, then scroll down to the very bottom options and you will see an option that says POST A POLL and you just select the checkbox and put in a number of options you have in mind (it defaults to 4 but can go up to 10). Then just submit the new thread and you'll get chance to put in the question and choices. Simple really. Let's see what shite appears on the home page....

You need to go in to general settings and activate,

You can just use [*video] tags like we used to use [*youtube] tags (no * in the real thing)

Done :) 2 SQL queries, everyone should now be using the enhanced WYSIWYG and the enhanced uploader.

But yeah, as xa-mont said, [video] tags are an easier way to educate people about, but either way, they can now choose either.

I'm still playing with more anti-spam measures. ASF seems to attract a LOT of spammers, more than some forums 10x the size of this one. I've done a few little tricks to stop them, that is already blocking multiple per day, but i'll keep adding more bot-protection til we've got it mostly stopped. You'll never stop ALL spammers though, since some of them just sign up to the site like a normal user would (eg a real human does it) then give the account details away... those, we can't ever block... moderators just need to ban/delete them.
