engine swap

Does anyone know how much trouble it would be to squeeze a big dirtbike single (650?) into a KR-1 or RGV? Apart from the obvious size issues, I guess i would have to make sure the drive is on the right side, and near enough to lining up where the original drive is. Electrics shouldnt be too much of a problem i wouldnt have thought. Is there anything I am forgetting?

A mate of mine was going to put a WR 450 engine into a SRX 250 but ditched it because of the exhaust port was pointing straight at the frame . That might be something you wanna look into ...

seen a kr1s with a klx650 engine in it.
mate had a srx250 with a xt550 engine in it
