Off a 2006 model Honda [:0] Hornet, perfect for a conversion, comes with sprocket carrier, mint disc (no grooving), axle, rear caliper & hanger & even the brake pedal & master cylinder.
The bike it came off had 2200km on it so the pads, disc, sprocket & bearings are A1. Wheel is mint, straight as a die, no runout at all, even the paint is good!
$150 the lot.

TK Do you know what nods would be needed to fit intoa GSXR750 89?

Bloody hell Pappas, that was a good question!
I just lined it up side by side with a 5.5" GSXR 1100 wheel & there's fuck all difference!
The axle is the same diameter.
The overall width from outside of sprocket to outside of disc is identical.
The discs are the same diameter.
The sprocket on the Hornet wheel sits approx 5mm further out from the rim edge, so you'd only have to put a 5mm thick washer behind your front sprocket or machine 5mm off the Hornet sprocket carrier (or live with a 5mm misalignment of your F & R sprockets)
I don't have the disc side spacer for the Gix wheel but if you don't have access to a lathe to make/modify wheel spacers you can just use washers to get the spacing right (although you'd probly get it right using a combination of the Hornet & GSXR spacers)
You could even use the GSXR caliper hanger seeing as the axles are the same diameter.
Piece of piss !! (I might hafta put the price up now ;))

It just gets better !!
The Honda wheel is heaps lighter than the Gix wheel as well [:p] wheel manufacturing technology has obviously come a long way between 1989 & 2006 !
