2000 gsxr 750 efi pump

Hi people,my efi pump has been sitting in the corner of my garage
for the past 5 weeks.
Now I have reinstalled it and it wont work,its getting power.
Do they dry out and fuck up or anything strange like that?

if they are anything like a fuel pump for a car then yes they do dry out try giving it a tap while hitting the key

Thanks Banditrod,it turned out to be a loose wire coming from my ignition.
