Well she is almost ready for licensing.
Quickly degreased her for these photos.
Have stuck with the old can until i get a new one fabricated. Also put on big and clunky rear indicators and mirrors for licensing purposes.
Once she is rego'd i will get around to polishing everything and am going to send tank, rear fairing and front fender to the spray painters for a new coat of 2 pac.
New racing seat ready to go one soon.
Might also think about raising the arse end a bit.

Great stuff TM!!!
Is that an old Megacycle Exhaust you have there, fond memories for me from when mine was a little younger than what it is now!! LOL

how are those brakes? do you get a fair bit of dive?

Cheers Fellas.:)

Weaselman: Surprisingly not much dive. Maybe because i used 20w fork oil instead of recommended 15w. The old kat is 30kg heavier than a slingshot so i also put slightly overlength springs in the forks.
Seems to handle it ok.

Heaps of little stuff to do now: Clutch and brake masters polished,
engine satined, engine covers polished, hide electricals, put on corbin seat, raise rear, new headers and can, grips, bar ends etc., also got new discs for front, mini indicators etc..............and once i become a mikuni master, i will put pods on. (and sure as hell mess up my <s>carburation</s> carbies!!!)

Just a question to you guys re handlebars, i have a set of slingshot clipons - whaddya reckon about sticking them on instead of mx bars?[?]

I had a cafe racer CB900 and had some custom clipons made by Tingate Racing... They make em to order so that might be a consideration. $200 for mine and they are fraptacular

Got her Licensed today!:D

And for a six pack, my mate said to my missus, "when he took off up the road it seemed to blow some black smoke".
All this so i can "rebuild" her oversize! Or find that EFE donk.
Cheers
