Hey Blokes, Is there any difference between a 750 and a 1100 alternator ?. I am talking about the front gear, have heard they are different pitch or something like that...........
What do the sexperts say ?

they are different gear on the front. don't no the exact tooth count but definetly different.

can take off the 750 gear and change it for the 1100 gear no probs

750 has 30 teeth and 1100 has 28

Hey Jo Jo. The gear is chewed and I think I have bent the output shaft on the alternator as well. Its got a bit of a wobble happenin, When I fuck somethin up,I do it good as. :(

I have two good sets of sixpots already and one set in need of new seals, so I think I am fully stocked with sixpots for the moment doc.
