View Full Version : CF Front sprocket cover

Got a kewl CF front sprocket cover from a friend.

It's made for the CBR1000 but I got it to fit the GSXR.

Should keep the lube out of the clutch actuator.

Also fitted a Gilles shift arm support.

They make a huge difference too.

Very tidy mate. Whats the go with the shifter? Not really seeing whats going on there.

Check the first picture.

The part with the little gold ring around the gear shaft is a brass bearing.

It supports the output shaft further out from the engine so when you shift the energy all goes into rotating the shaft instead of trying to flex it out of the engine.

id like something like that but my bikes habit of attracting slime and grease means i couldnt see it after a week

What's the purpose of the little window in it near the top Stocky? You could check the chain anywhere and the sprocket is in full view anyway? Is it just to see how it's sitting?
