What would you want in a scooter? A 100cc, 8-10bhp engine and some underseat storage space? Not if you’re Team Cristofolini Racing. These Italians have built a scooter which is fitted with a carburetted 350cc V4 that makes 112 horsepower. The chassis is modified Malaguti F12. And we suppose you'd have to be Valentino Rossi himself to be able to ride this machine, which, with its small wheels, short wheelbase and 112bhp engine, should be a right nightmare.

Hell yes, imagine getting some harley / super-squid trying to race you off the lights, this thing would own.

Though i guess the range would suck though.

A bloke on the ZX forum in the US built a twin turbo, supercharged step through running on nitro. At 10psi boost it did 202mph. The info on it is a little vague apart from that, trade secrets and such. I can dig up the link to his company if anyone is interested. He builds all brand performance motorbike engines, drag, landspeed ect.

The top one in rad.... thebottom one has a case of Gaids...
I got beaten buy a scooter in Ferntree gully a few years ago ... prick had a bottle hanging off it .. cool though and funny to see a guy in full leathers on a scooter saying "hey mate wanna drag"....

considering the seat is almost behind the engine i would be getting either a 12 bar or a drag bar. can you imagine hiting the power band???

What interests me is what motor have they used? 350cc V4 with over 100 horse; I need one. A 250GP chassis would be perfect I think

mite be a snowmobile or in board boat motor? my mate was muckin around with a 800cc v4 two stroke outboard a while ago sounded wicked

there was a bloke about 25 years ago running an outboard motor in an open wheeler, it was untouchable, so in the good sportsmanship of australian motor racing they outlawed it.
