They're a bit shorter than my old 91 model 1100 usd's, but since they'd been pushed through about 50mm, the geometry is the same

old forks weighed 5.136kg
new forks weigh 3.160kg

new radials 1.23kg
110g per caliper
Total saving of 4.172kg of the front end:D
Thanks to ben for making and painting the brackets and spacers (i kept my yokes, and ben made spacers for the top & bottom yokes, and the headlight bracket. and the front guard. and the, well, you get the idea).

So 91 model usds are a bigger dia than k3 thou forks?

Yeah, about a 2mm difference top & bottom, so 1mm spacers.

Actually thats 1mm bottom, 2mm top so a .5mm thick bottom spacer & a 1mm thick top.

The dash is a digibeast MWsomethingorother, first one in the country.More expensive than the acewells that Exben's selling (but he's got digibeasts, too) but they've got alloy casing. It's mounted where the key normally is in the FZ6N headlight i've got, with a datatool revlight as then tacho. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
