I bought another pillion seat from egay, and grabbed some seat foam from my local motor trimmers.

I used my $15 angle grinder to smooth it out a bit.

to custom, mate, custom.
Covered in a grippy material so the missus doesn't slide around so much. I've been given the thumbs up for the extra padding, not quite a lounge chair, but a bit better, apparently.

The bloke who i bought the rider and pillion seat off (haven't modded the riders seat yet. I thought i'd practice on hers, first.) also had a solo seat cowl, too. Ben painted it for me, it meant the look of the pillion seat didn't matter, just comfort.
