We are removing and replacing a retaining wall out of a nursing home
and the maintenance bloke was chucking out a couple of hospital beds.
Rip the springs out, 3 pieces of 50 x 25 and some ply and we have a couple of bike lifts

I'm pretty sure some have a weight rating. Might be an idea to check that out before loading it up too much. I'd be pretty shyte to have a leg give out and drop your bike onto you.

How do they raise and lower something a dedicated battery drill could cope with ??

It's piss easy to wind up by hand with two blokes standing on it. You could put a garage door motor on it but for a standard road bike it's not really necessary.

usually up to 250-300 kg. Over 300 kg is for whales etc.

Would like to get my hands on one, sans patient, fucking brilliant.

Talk shite to the other half and you can bang the mattress back on!!!!!!
