Went for a weekend run and thought we'd take in the Thunder rally
via Thunderbolts way and on the way back visit the Powerhouse museum in Tamworth and home via the Oxley. Me on the ZRX and Rexie and his son Marc on the 14. bit of rain made it interesting. Marc was a bit spun out with the 14s pace through the corners.

Bummer I missed it...

Went along last year (did the Oxley while we were up there) and did so much riding that we were too rooted to do much drinking afterwards.

A couple of mates went again this year but with a shiny new mortgage I have to limit my riding. :(

Weather was reasonable it rained on and off. the rally site is at 1150m altitude, according to the BMW in the next camp, so the weather is a bit different up there.
I tried to convince Marc that it wasn't raining but we were riding through the rain cloud.
He almost bought it :D

Is that the Ducati run to Sheba Dam ?......If so it's heaps colder at the dam than down at Nundle.

Thats the one.
And I am damned if I know why that dam does not just freeze over. It has about the coldest water I have ever experienced.
