G'day all.
I got handed a business card for this place a while back and thought I would register and chat with a few like-minded individuals.

I currently own an '03 1200 Bandit with a few bits and pieces done to it but am far from finished.

Up top, yes but I lost a stack of midrange. Once I put a stage 3 jet kit in and switched to pods I got it all back plus a few ponies more!

Yeah I have stage 3 in mine too and a Yoshi system. But we just cut more holes in the Airbox :D

Im actually considering a set of pods though, where did you score yours ?

I ended up ordering them and the jet kit from Banditmania in the U.K. since no one in Oz seemed to stock them.
I think they are great simply for ease of removal to adjust the carbs and once I managed to shoe-horn that damn airbox out I threw it to buggery hoping I never see it again (along with that stupid PAIR system).

wtf's a PAIR system Razor?

The Australian Dynojet supplier will get kits in on order, but you can wait 2+ months for them to put an order in (only done once there are enough orders). And yeah, pissing off the airbox makes carb work much easier, I can even get it right (sometimes)

It is an emission control system that burns off any extra fuel before it exits via the exhaust. It was fitted to the second generation Bandit's but takes up too much room, weighs too much and just gets in the way when working on the engine.

Nothing for me to worry about PAIR was a post 2000 model thing I think

Cheers Cruise, Im pretty happy with the way the beast is running right now, but I suspect Pods may give me a little extra which is always desirable. Goin on the Dyno next thursday to see whats what, then take it from there ;)

Chalk this is a pic of a Suzuki PAIR system (minus some rubber plumbing), kind of reminds me of the parasite that tried to lay it's egg down Sigourney Weaver's throat..... and just about as hard to get off too when working around the headers.

Cheers Rich

The things a freak!!!
It's a full blown secondary exhaust system ain't it. Almost looks like a Turbo adaptor unit for a bike.
Is their any chance at all that someone (ie rego, plod etc) would pick up that it had been removed from a bike?

Cruisecontrol

Doubtful, unless they knew what they were looking for. You need to fab up four cover plates for where it bolted on near the headers but if they are neat enough and painted black it is almost invisible.

This is everything I removed:

That's my kinda copper :)

Have to buy the man a beer sometime. Actually Rich, how do you're bike riding colleagues (off-duty riders) feel about all the pink fascist laws that are coming in these days?

Exactly right.
The full system cost me just over 900 bucks. Because everyone seems to want a Yoshi at the moment they are practically giving them away!

Nice work on the Hindle CC . They are a nice looking system i think.

I have a mate who is a cop in Nambucca and his TL has pipes that rattles window frames. His bike has a heap of questionable parts. He would never ping a bike rider.

It is surprisingly quiet down low but above 5000rpm it is louder than world war II. A good compromise for when there is a need to ride quietly...

I finally decided to chop the can:

I am amazed a how much deeper the sound now is and surprised that it is not too much louder.
Looks a million bucks better too. :D

Ha ha! Welcome aboard the crazy train mate! It's the first official streetfighter mod (as in the grinder came out instead of bolting something on) and your first step into our twisted world. You don't think it's going to end there do you!!!! I'm seeing the USDs next........

You read my mind.
I have already replaced the shithose stock rear shock with a 'Busa unit and the front end is the next item on the agenda.
