Is the TL steering damper mounted on top or on the side?

actually, come to think of it im not sure
the TLR's bolts into the top of the top yoke and then to a special lug on the chassis
maybe i should keep my big mouth shut
or else i might end up winning that fuckin award AGAIN next year.....

2NDclass.
the damper is a top mount, mounts on top of the top tripple, and in behind the tank.
its really a tls specific mounting, tho the damper may be used elsewhere.
also afaik, the tl shares the same dimensions as the 96-k2 gixxers in terms of wheels, forks etc...

Ah righto, don't worry about it then. Been looking for a side-mounted one to adapt to my bike.
