Hi all,

I bought an 05 CBR1000RR about a month ago after my VFR800 got taken out by a ute, unfortunately I was on it and spent some time in hospital for the privilage. Thought what better way to come back then on a blade? Hmmm, nope, can't think of one.

My name's Tess and I live in the Oz capital city - Canberra. Not a real big city but we have plenty of fantastic roads to play on around here! Oh I also like walks on the beach, candle light dinners ......

I am hoping to source some fairings, as thanks to some wet slippery roads, I went for a slide a couple of days ago. Thankfully all I got were a few bruises. Welcome back to the expensive sport of motorcycling! Nothing mechanically wrong as it was low speed but fairings are not as pretty as the shot I recently took.

I got pointed in this direction by a friend, awesome site! If I was more mechanically minded I'd have a serious think about streetfightering my CBR, never knew they could look so hot!

I look forward to further exploring our site and maybe getting a few ideas :D

Hey Tess welcome to the madness. You are in the right spot as we don't like Tupperware on our bikes round here.

Someone may have them or you could try Ebay I have seen heaps of them for sale on there cheap. Chinese imports etc; but plastics are plastics.

Good luck.

Wow, apologies for the large picture!

Thanks Shadowzone! Am trying to think laterally to track some down. Also want to learn more about my new bike. Should be a fun adventure!

If you do decide to keep the plastics you could go the race-fairings with enduro light set up that i think someone here has done, that will keep it faired and unique.
