Big hello to all you fighter fans, seems a busy streetfighter forum you got here, got lots of reading to do.

here's my 1987 gsxr1100 which was featured in streetfighters mag over here in the uk in june 08 issue.

I recognise that one. You got it from Gloucester originally right? That's why I remember it so well. I used to live in Cheltenham. Nice bike mate, German madness all the way. Good to have you aboard.

all the time mate, i've had the bike 5 years now if i remember right, did a john O'groats to Lands End and back run on it before changing it radically, it was just gonna be a good service after the 1784 mile run but kinda went haywire lol

don't know how many hours went into it as it took 11 months to build, only having a couple of hours of a weekend (due to the missus working weekends and having 4 kids to look after) and the odd hour in the evenings through the week, the winter times put a go slow on it as i have no shed/workshop or light in the garden, the airbrushing took longer than expected but as it was done for free i wasn't complaining but it also slowed up the bike being finished, but at the end of the day it was all worth the wait.
