Hi all all being well I will be emigrating to australia and settling in brisbane later next year and want to bring my YZF750 with me but need to now the ins and outs of modified bike in OZ as i want to fit a thunder ace engine and r6 tail section to it but dont now if to do it before or after importing in to OZ as your rules are a lot more involved than in the UK and dont want to fall foul of the OZ goverment departments right from the start

G'day dave, I'd say do the mods after it's registered (depending on the mods) to make life easy on yr self (not saying it's that hard if modified,but). Bring plenty of sun screen with ya. Theres quite a few of your <s>cunt</s>country men out here to make ya feel at home...

Don't you need to get the bike checked over anyway when importing it as it's never been registered in Australia? Regardless, I wouldn't do any mods until you get it here mate (you might even find it cheaper to sell that one and buy another when you get here compared to the shipping / registering / exchange rate).
