Hey guys how you going.

Mike here and I'm writing to say hello and get a few ideas. My motorbike got run off the road last weekend and I'm thinking abotu Strretfightering it, but I'm not sure and maybe someone else might be interested in doing it instead.

I ride, or rode, a K2 GSX-R600 with a Yoshi Pipe and Powercommander.

I had just had it serviced and cleaned up last Thursday and only got to do about 150kms on it before it got damaged. It still kicks over first go like a champ and revs are still very smooth. Serviced at Mick Dyers in Penrith.

I'll post some pics, but has anyone got any ideas, or is anyone interested in buying it to streetfighter it???

Yeah, bike is on ebay and on netrider...I don't have the time to do it. It was an amazing bike...my mechanic almost cried when I got it back there within 4 days of the service. It was a beautiful bike, but I just don't know if I'll still enjoy it as much without it as it was...I miss it, but I'm ready to move on. Thanks fellas for picking the important bits...lol...

RED ZX is right - Bike was not recorded in accident...haven't been back to RTA to get rego back yet, still trying to figure out how I do that without telling them that it was in an accident - I'm thinking tell them that I am going on holidays and it will be being put in storage or something like that and getting rego back...gotta figure that out, but yeah, no police report, no record of accident - mate went to hospital but he 'fell off the roof' or something...Very easy to re-register.

We'll see how the bid goes....doesn't finish till saturday week...if no luck and no-one wants it, I won't have much choice. I will probably fix it as a fighter and see how I like it...anyone got any links of pics of gixxer fighters???

Mate about your rego - If it's like Qld you don't need to tell them anything to de-register it. Simply fill out the form hand in the plate and they'll send you a cheque in the mail for the balance of rego less the admin fees. If they ask just tell em you're putting it on the track and its unroadworthy cause you've gutted the fairings, lights speedo etc. They won't ask though cause they don't really care.

Oh and if you're worried about not having fun? Change your front sprocket down 2 teeth and go up 3 or 4 on the rear, slap some oggy knobs on it and start doing some wheelies and stoppies bro.
