Just wanted to drop a quick line or two. Just joined today on my first visit. Im a Animal Trainer for the movies and when things get slow I work at a Suzuki Dealer here in the Getto of Los Angeles.

I have built quite a few streetfighters and when I was a messenger I rode them everyday for work. Bandits, GSXR and TLs mostly. Now I have a Hayabusa that is more of a big standard rather than a streetfighter. The Girlfriend would have my balls in a jar if she couldnt go for rides.

Welcome aboard mate. Do you train household animals for films or mental ones like the orangutang from "Every which way but loose"?

How do you train a reptile? Mine just does as he pleases!
Welcome.

Mostly by having so many that one of them will do what I want. I handle many types of animals, domestic and wild. http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f359/BanditMan1200/Animals/

By the way, where was the Roo at and what was he for?

The chimp flipping the bird is one of the hardest things to teach, They dont have fingers that move independantly like ours. When she did that I knew I was in trouble, She is too smart.

The Turkey is done by wrapping off the parts with tin foil.

The Roo is here in Los Angeles. I was doing a commercial with Paul Hogan for the Suburu WRX. Ive had Roos for a long time. Dumb as a mud fence but cool to have around. I like the reds better than the grays.

Ever had one go nuts on you? They can mess you up pretty bad... Then again, I reckon you have more dangerous animals to worry about than Roos hey?

When the one in the picture got a bit older he really got aggresive. Nobody wanted any part of him but it worked out for me, He was scared shitless of me and would go to his box for sanctuary. Worked well for shots in big areas.

Yes it is. That is rockey. I had another one that was a lot younger that would do all the running shots. I had to make fiberglass horns for him to match. I think there is a picture of him in there too.
