Sunday Mt Glorious Event

Are you going for a ride this weekend? Great! The Maiala Rainforest Teahouse & Restaurant combined with Queensland Transport and TeamMoto Motorcycles are having a rider survivor event this Sunday 14th September.

You will have the chance to win up to $1,000 worth of riding gear, an Advanced road craft course voucher worth $255 and a Shoei XR1000 Helmet on the day. Not only that the ride up Mount Glorious is a great ride, you can have a fantastic breakfast and a great ride back out over Mount Nebo and Mount Mee. What a perfect day!

any way of making a weekly, fortnightly or monthly ride up the mt? i wont be able to come out till one of my bikes is back up n running but yeah. i reckon would be ace for a ASF group ride every so often so that way all us young fellas n new guys could meet the rest of ya. good way to get to know people n good excuse(not that we really need one) to go for a days ride n even stop for a beer on the the way back.

I had a vehicle inspection on the way to the Cafe,
licence check, breathaliser etc.

Was sent on my way. Had a coffee and sandwich and headed
back home 20 minutes later, thinking, ha ha, im safe and
I know he's there.

Got stopped by the SAME COP !
Licence check, vehicle inspection, breathaliser AGAIN !
When I asked if he remembered me, he growled...
"Are you refusing to co-operate Sir?"

I've seen tickets handed out recently up there for short rear guards,
Loud pipes, and even "non-folding" aftermarket rear-sets.

Unless I know im legal and its a group ride with mates i avoid the place.

well i get paid friday n im buying a dirtbike headlight n headlight shroud:D. then all i need is the digi dash(anyone know a cheap one?)n the forks seals done n straightened (i should be able to do it my self)n new discs for the front... i may need a hand staightening the forks as i dont have all the tools i need[B)].. i gott buy me some more tools now i have a bigger shed to work on my bikes..then my only problem is painti wanna do something different then black so anyone got any ideas? so after all that to answer your question if i get stuck into it around 2 weeks lol..:D

We do rides almost every weekend.

North is normaly ending somewhere like Malaney,
Kenilworth, Somerset Dam or The Farmers Arms Pub at Hampton.

South we go out through Boohna, Warwick, Beachmont,
AdvanceTown, etc.

We are off in half an hour to head down to Queen Mary Fall's
at Kilarney for breakfast.(Bris/Beaudesert/Boonha/back roads)

Bearded Dragon or the new "Pommie Pub" are good.
Nice ride from either Brissy or Gold Coast.

Beaudesert, Boonah, Hillbilly backroads up to Queen Mary Falls,
Kilarney, Settlers Route (Fast open roads) to Cunninghams Gap,
Aratula, Boonah, Beaudesert, Brissy.

Will be doing Fernvale or Mt G to meet at Splityard Creek,
