After that Copper died at Mount Gravatt by going under the truck cause he couldn't stop in time Honda Australia stated categoriocally - "We never said the bike was rated above 130km/hr, and as such are able to accept no liability for the incorrect or excessively fast operation of the motorbike by the Queensland Police Service Staff."

Funny how they've changed back to BMW's now isn't it?

i used to work for a recovery firm that transported the old st1100's and 1 of the cop mechanics for the Met. police said that Honda offered a special heavy duty handling kit with all the new bikes supplied but the uk police force chose not to have it fitted by the concesionaires
