Ladies and gents.

Myself and my friend are considering importing The Bandit helmet range.

This is a serious consideration and the helmets would be avalible through my mates shop SS Scooter Engerneering in Newtown.

If your interested check out the site and post as to what designs are appealing to you.
These are not aussie approved for the road but if you wear a simpson or any streetfighter brand none of them are.

As i said please look at the site and let me know. Once i get an idea of numbers we will get a shipment in and i will post again when they are avalible to the public.
The price ATM is looking to be around the $600 mark but thats still cheaper than the base model Simpson in ozzy money.

There is a chance they will go down in price depending on demand so use this price as a guide only.

I cant see much of a market really for more non approved helmets in Aust....
especially for around the $600 dollar mark.

No disrespect mate, but Stu rom AUSFR has put in the ground work for bringing in new Craft helmets with ADR approval, so when it comes time and the helmets are delivered... Stu has definitely got a sale from me. Id rather not give Mr Plod something else to fine me for lol...

Thats way to much for a non approved lid mate. I got my Craft (latest model) in from the states for $450 delivered.

I've heard all the stress Stu has been through to get the Craft helmets ADR approved mate and he has shelled out some serious money. I know you're not planning to do that though and appealing to the Simpson market isn't a bad idea. The only problem you would have would be the number of units you shifted due to the ADR thing, but if that is not an issue then go for it I reckon. You never know?

I like the look of the XXR. Abel (Funkenfresh) from WA just got a Bandit helmet. If you haven't tried one or want to know the outcome try asking him mate. He's had it for a few months now I think. He'd know what they were like. I think EVAD also got one.

Its a large but im normally a medium in the Nolan helemts that i have. But the fit is good so maybe they are sized abit small, Haven't had it on the road yet! Hopefully tomorrow!!

eye piece is pretty small :D but vision seems not to bad, probably similar to the simpsons Ill let you know once I ride with it on tomorrow:D

Yep the XXR is pretty much what ozcat said about the Simpson, fair bit of noise and side vision is a bit limited. Nice and light and it attracts a fair bit of attention :D:D

Arai had a TT07 helmet for 575 quid too[:p] All the riding marshalls got one to go with their CBR600RRRRs
