So i am wondering should i put a mortage on the house for this machine or not? He only wants $23500 US. I am nearly to thinking it is worth it.

if there was one in Aus i think i would have tried to buy by now, there was a ex factory race that was imported from canada to NZ it sold earlier this year, i am trying to hunt it down but am not having much luck. if there is one in aus for sale i am certainly interested, i know of a couple that have sold not long ago but i wasn't in a position to act on them. I also have access to a RR in brissy that was raced, it looks pretty rough but has some good trick gear on it.

The RR in the pick will come with the stand it is on and has only 1500 miles on it. and was imported into the US for the bloke selling it.
if i keep going i will talk myself into buying........better shut up and not tell the wife.....yet

Are you buying it to ride or look at or both?

Wasn't there one on this site a coupla years back?
Not for sale but I seem to remember it belonging to a bloke in the eastern suburbs
of Sydney who had a bit of a collection happening.

Yes i can see why you are 'Evil' karl..... i really do want one,
did you have your RG at the Laverda concourse? i think i got a heap of pictures of it. If it was the one i am thinking of it is anice looking machine.
and i would probably do both, ride it occasionally and then just look at it.
you know sit on it in the shed and make brmmm brmmm noises

For sitting on in the shed making Brmmmmmm Brmmmm noises this bike is a very good model but very expensive ordiment.
For riding, Worth every cent
For looking at, well a poster of the bike would save you 25k and do the same thing.

Yes that was my bike at the Show bud, I ride it less and less these days then I use to, but love owning the bike every day of the week.
For the record, when i sit on my bike and make Brmmmmmmm Brmmmm noises, I have to also make a "Ratttttle Ratttttle" noise too.

If you buy the RK, I'll bring my RG over and we can have a race in your shed. The MotoRetard GP

This is the 1989 GSXR750RK Limited Edition.
They were the race spec GSXR, the same ones ridden in world superbike. They came with an optioned race kit for around the same price as the bike (Dry Clutch, Lightened Crank, Rods, Pistons, Cams etc) But very few survive today fully kitted out. They did come standard with a Alloy tank, close ratio box and race plates as seen in pic however this one obviously doesn't have the dry clutch. :( True limited edition bike with not many built. This one along with mine are to the 2 "collector" edition GSXR's. Sweet bit of kit if your prepared to spend the money, not good for street fighting though lol

Yeah i have got to get down to the museum, i keep saying to the wife how about we drop in on the way to brissy, then i listen to how we are running late and haven't got any time to waste on looking at dumb motorbikes. :(
i am not under the thumb much :P
