I see there have been a few posts about insurance lately. I thought maybe if you could post where your insured and costs it may help others get a better idea of where to go for a better deal. Here is mine.

Shannon's

Hmmmm...

Anything as long as its not QBE...
Shannons i think would be the best bet considering there age.. They also offer salvage rights so you can get your bike back for parts if things go bad.

im going to use some foul language here but for mine QBE are cunts. If i get in trouble for that so be it but after my accident they put me through the wringer and they wont get a cent of my money ever.
*Pant pant*

Ok thats enough of that... For you age i say QBE (Get salvage rights)

'04 Z750,Swann,comprehensive,no claim bonus 4,$314,I'm38.Young guys do get ripped off,I only have 1 year experience and should be more of an insurance risk than a good young rider.
Thanks for the heads up on QBE,I heard from a few people that Suncorp are good payers but I have no personal experience with any claims.Im about to shop around for my renewal and will let you know how I got on.

I have written off two bikes through Swann. One at fault and the other not. On both occasions they were great to deal with.

Sorry for the noob question but, I still havent insured my bike been 18 months as a daily(stupid I know). I havent decided on a insurence company but my dad rides a 1200 bandit n was told by shannons that they will not insure a daily, only weekend toys. I'm 28 had a full rating 1 n was after any sugestions on a good insurance company, not just who not to use? sorry for the hi-jack.

Yeah Shannons also won't insure you if you ride more than 10,000k's per year. Apparently their definition of being a bike enthusiast (well according to their ads that's the demographic they're after) is someone who doesn't ride very much, if at all...
