Unfortunately no, the insurance didn't cover the bike. But Im just such a nice guy that I bought it off him anyway.

Actually FIY, did you know that if you take your bike to a bike shop & it gets stolen, burnt or otherwise damaged & it's not through neglegence of the bike shop, & if you don't have your own insurance on the bike ( even if it's not finnished yet ) then your SHIT OUTTA LUCK !:(
That is unless the bike shop has taken out some sorta special insurance, which no one does cause it would be too expensive.
Oh, the things the insurance companys don't tell you till you try to make a claim.[V][V]

looks like it already has some pretty trick stuff on it ben
rearsets for starters

whats with the metal radiator hose, your handywork?

so just how messed up is it?
wiring seems to still be there so im guessing it didnt get too hot?

mmm, looks like some non-standard business going on in that subframe too...

Fimp, it probably isn't as bad as it looks. It's all smoke/heat damage. Basicly it's gotta be fully stripped down re powdercoated, re anodized & re painted. Which is a real pain as it was nearly finished. At least this time it'll be a proper bike cause all the plastic got burnt in the fire.
Yeah there's some trick stuff on it, fully adjustable billet triples, arrow steering damper, full Ti Akro exhaust,Power commander, rearsets, brembo Master cyl, light weight this machined that etc.....

Hey Ben, good to see ur converting.....hahahaha. Yeh i know this bike, Sean or someone bought it off my mate Dave, he built the subframe and had a mate machine all the other bits for it, he was biulding a Yoshi spec factory superbike. Had a Yoshi spec TLR manual from Japan. I beleive all the billet stuff is made by 'Ricci'. Could be wrong on this one....but looks like my mates handy work. This thing should turn out nice...:D i can't wait.

So ben , u gonna give us any ideas.......[:p][:p][:p]
