The forks are now effectively the same length as the ones on the XJR. The R1 legs only go 20mm into the bottom of the yoke, the caps come out to allow access to the adjusters.
Quick squirt of black paint for now....Got to get it sorted for Bike Week...They'll be anodised at a later date.

Nah mate, sticking with old skool style with a modern twist.
I'm actually thinking about keeping the twin shocks too....of all the bikes I see in Streetfighters I always come back to the old Kwaks & GSX's etc. Take the latest copy...Noice spondon but other than that...the Turbo gsx....even though its a suksuki...still proper tough.

Way to go russ - even with a mono shock job a half modern bike will still out handle you so why bother? Twin shocks look the nuts if you ask me.

My case in point - sorry for blemishing your thread with a suzy tho mate.

xactly Pete....the only time I would see the difference would be on one of those weird roundy roundy things some peeps call a 'race track'.. [?]
Oh and don't mind the Kat...proves that even Suzi can get it right ONCE.
Still gonna fit the R1 arm/wheel etc and get the seat rails looooww........Have to go see Pommy Chopper ;)
