Ballarat Motorcycle Expo Sat 9thSun10thAug

Saturday 9th Aug. 9am - 9pm.
Sunday 10th Aug. 9am - 3pm.
Ballarat Greyhound Track.
Sutton st, Delacombe.
Adults $5, kids U/16 free.
All displays are indoors. Large range of bikes and trade stalls.

If any one is interested I'll put on a bbq and your welcome to crash Saturday night if ya want. Let me know. Leave my place around lunch time Saturday or there abouts.

Been ridin' Marcy's little SRX 250 to work this week 'cause the gix is getting some attention. This morning at 5:30 it was at least -3deg[:0] Almost come a gutsa a few times on the way[B)] Fuggin' ice and skinny tyres don't mix. See ya tomorrow.

Well firstly the minister piked out, ( lest just see if she takes that as bait )[}:)] Well not really, anyway the eldest daughter KB didn't need any arm twisting. So Just on midday we left in beautiful sunshine[8D] gassed up and got gridlocked, efen footy[:o)]. Oh well shyte happens, but as we climbed up toward Ballarat, the last 40 odd k's, it got mighty cold, in fact the carbs started the old freeze up bullshyte, Pulled up in the main street, gave Kev a ring, shut down Igor and let it unfreeze its bits, Wish I could say the same. After 10-15 minutes and a coffee, Igor would at least idle again, so it was off to the expo...
Have I told you how efen cold it was, well it was that efen cold that the 30 odd pics I took of bikes at the expo are all shyte, Must have been shaken that much not one shot is clear, and there was some nice shots to be had.
Meet up with Kev, as he was arriving with his family we was making a beeline for home, the weather wasn't looking all that nice.
Ballarat, seen us off in true winter style, it rained all the way to Gordon where the carbs again iced up, but as we closed in on Ballan it started to clear. A dash of fuel to see us home, and a wee bit of ice on the freeway on ramp, had 2 pucker valves puckering, from there the typical boring freeway ride home.
All in all a good day out, (Any day out is a good day out, and a bad days riding is always better than a good day at work)
Next year a bigger streetfighter turn out would be good;)

Bloody cold everywhere, went to the Cobram swap meet and left early , 1/2 expecting to see snow on the way home, still trying to warm up...

Twas ok. Not really an expo, more like a bike show. Mick, you think it was cold on Saturday, it snowed on the Sunday/Monday. We had snow on the hill behind my joint for 4 days. Good one Russ^^^^
