New Gixxer 750 rider ahoy!

Gday! Im new here (obviously) so I'll share my tale with you. Name's Chris, and I just moved to Melbourne a few months ago from Canberra. Great fun, until some prick stole my '98 GSXR 750. I thought it was all over until I got a call from the cops saying they'd picked someone up cruising around on it. A high speed persuit, a little drop, a tow-truck ride and a shit-load of fingerprint dust later, I have my bike back. GO YOU GOOD THING!!! Anyway, I've always wanted to fighter it, and while it needs some work, seems like a good time to start. So if anyone's got any suggestions as to where to start... Im thinking, lose the front fairings, new top yoke & bars, and headlights and instrument mount? Sound about right?

mate i've got an SRAD 600 and it looks ok figthered. the tail will get annoying after a while (you'll get sick of bumble bee jibes). but a good start it the new yoke and bars and a new headlight. in case you haven't already found it stu who runs

is a member on here and his stuff is fucking ace. it might seem expensive, but once you go through the fucking around with other stuff you will realise that it's actually worth alot more than he charges. plus he has all the good gear[8D]
